HME Filter

Description

Our HME filter is essential for passive humidification and effectively filters bacteria and viruses in anesthesia, respiratory care, and critical care settings. With our bacterial-viral filter, patients and equipment are safeguarded against harmful pathogens. The hygroscopic membrane maximizes moisture absorption, reducing the need for active humidification. A tethered cap ensures the gas monitoring port remains sealed, preventing misplacement.

Specifications include a dead space of 40ml, tidal volume range of 150-1500ml, pressure drop of 100Pa at 30LPM, and moisture output of 32mg at 500VT. Our filter boasts a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 99.999% and a viral filtration efficiency (VFE) of 99.999%. It features a connector of 22M/15F – 22F/15M and includes gas monitoring capabilities.
